MEET THE FARMER

Hello! My name is Kate Kemp and I teach kindergarten in Baxter Springs, KS. When I’m not playing in the classroom, I’m playing in the dirt. Flutterby (named after my kid sister’s mispronunciation of “butterfly”) came about after researching how to save the bees. If you’ve done this, you know the deep rabbit hole in to which I fell, face first. After pulling myself out of the rabbit hole I finally landed on the idea of a field of flowers. It sounds romantic, right?
